Generative Artificial Intelligence for Science Teacher Education enhancement: Framework Development
The GAI-SciTeach Project aims to promote conditions for generative artificial intelligence to empower educators and learners through the development of a pedagogical framework for its effective integration into the initial training of science teachers. The reference framework is based on the literature and takes TPACK 2023 as its starting point. This framework is negotiated between various stakeholders from different backgrounds: science education (e.g., future teachers and teacher trainers), artificial intelligence (computer science researchers), and educational technology (researchers in education), to ensure its adaptation to the specificity of initial science teacher training.
