Participate: Focus group interview on stakeholder perspectives

You will have the opportunity to participate in a focus group interview where we aim to gather the opinions of stakeholders in science education on the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) in science education and science teacher training.

The focus group will be held online, via the TEAMS platform.

The project’s objectives:

The project aims to create conditions for GAI to empower educators and learners by developing a pedagogical framework geared towards its effective and ethical integration into the initial training of science teachers. Two main results are expected:

  • A pedagogical reference framework, with guidelines adapted to the effective and ethical integration of IAG, considering contextual and procedural factors;
  • A technology-based intervention, applied in the initial training of science teachers, which promotes innovative practices and improves student learning.

In simplified terms, the objectives include:

  • Systematic review of literature;
  • Identification of the perspectives of stakeholders in science education;
  • Design of a pedagogical and intervention prototype;
  • Evaluation and refinement of the prototype with experts;
  • Implementation and evaluation in a real teacher training context.
